Sit the way your body was built to.
Hukōn is a toilet seat that gently brings you into a natural 35° posture - for easier, calmer mornings.
Shown: a hand-finished 3D-printed prototype that demonstrates the posture. The final product is injection molded.
Modern toilets put us at 90°. Our bodies prefer 35°.
- Today's toilets seat us upright at a full 90° - a posture our bodies weren't designed for
- For most of human history we relieved ourselves in a gentle 35° lean, the natural squatting posture
- At 90° a key muscle stays partly kinked, so the body has to work harder
- That daily effort is linked to straining, discomfort and hemorrhoids
A seat that does the work for you.
Hukōn brings the natural 35° posture back - built into the seat itself. It attaches like any standard toilet seat, works with your existing toilet and needs nothing extra in your bathroom. The angle is always ready: no adjusting, no learning, just sit and let your body do what it was built to do.
